Chantal's Journey
Several times during the past couple of years I had a feeling of nearing a dead-end in my life. A never-ending story of limiting thoughts, causing unpleasant sensations in my body. My mind was constantly trying to solve this but never succeeded to do so. It only brought unpleasant memories to the surface, functioning as evidence why I was feeling this way.
As a lecturer in business skills, I experienced a sense of meaninglessness caused by the cognitive nature of educational programs. My soul often whispered: “there must be something more than this?” But what?
IOLEE came on my path at a time when I was about to give up, not knowing how to evolve beyond the death-end. An IOLEE workshop, facilitated by Carlo Monsanto in The Hague, the Netherlands in 2011, provided me with a brand-new perspective. Essentially, I learned how to connect what I thought with what I sensed in my body. Most approaches only focus on one or the other. It was amazing to discover how my body and mind when accessed as a whole, bring to my understanding beliefs and patterns which have been stored in me for so many years. This ongoing process calls up “waves” of feelings which can be overwhelming at first. However, by being present with these feelings, peace always returns and bring back flow in my body.
Through IOLEE, which focuses on decoding, mapping, and tracking sensations (fear, sadness, rejection) in the body, I got to know many of the “guests” in my body. Meanwhile I have resolved quite a number of patterns. Mentally it was and still is sometimes hard to accept that I don´t need to do anything to solve whatever is “undigested”.

Sangeetha’s Journey
After being trained as a medical researcher for over 10 years, and being exposed to complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) modalities in the past two years, I was exposed to the Inside-Out Learning Experience Ecosystem or IOLEE, and the methodology that it applies. What became obvious to me as I was guided to experience and study IOLEE (Monsanto-Petruse, 2017), is the way it had empowered me to recognize the working mechanisms and support in the healing of my own unbalance and the discomforts that had accompanied the same, from a subjective level of experience. The way it is guided is non-therapeutic, safe and shifted my perspective on health and healing. To start with my own experience. From early childhood, I used to be treated for bronchitis with allopathic medication. This grew into asthma as life transitioned into adulthood. I used to have frightening asthma attacks, until I was guided to heal the working mechanisms that caused the asthma from a deeper level through IOLEE. This experience made me understand how my breathing difficulties were based on my own trauma’s and associated emotional unbalance. It also resolved the associated physical discomfort, decreasing my dependency on medication of any sort. It had given me the confidence to resolve this health challenge independently.

Thousands of hours of field-observation between 2001 and 2019 have led to the following conclusions. Although IOLEE's approach to guiding the intrinsic learning process is non-therapeutic, its educational framework is designed to positively affect the capacity of learners to recognize the patterns of coping that disrupt balance socially and on all levels within us. This restores the capacity of learners to consciously and effortlessly process experiences as they internally emerge in connection with the immediate world outside. Continued practice develops into a self-directed intrinsic competency, which enables the learner to dynamically apply the acquired understanding, capacity and competency, on demand in day-to-day situations, positively affecting the learner physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially.
